William J. Thompson of Salem, NH and formerly of Lawrence, MA died Friday at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA. He was 76 years old.
He was born in Lawrence, MA where he grew up and was educated and he graduated from Lawrence High School. He served his country in the US Marine Corps. He worked for Raytheon as an Industrial Engineer until his retirement in 1990.
He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church, the Knights of Columbus in Methuen, MA and the former Turn Hall in Lawrence, MA.

A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 1:30PM at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH followed by cremation. Calling hours will be private.
