Ruth (Haven) Broyles Glidewell, 85, passed away July 31, 2014.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma and Vernon Haven; two sons, Terry and David Broyles; former husband, Ken Glidewell; and son-in-law, Timothy Wilcox.
She was a valued member of Bethany United Methodist Church and a retired bookkeeper for Kentucky Fairgrounds. She is survived by her children, Sandra Lawless (Lyle), Brenda D. Alexander (Rick), Carol A. Wilcox, Ralph H. Broyles (Lisa); grandchildren, Melinda Golde, Missy Casada (Patrick), Alicia Doyle (John), Robert H. Broyles (Amy), Cameron Wilcox; great-grandchildren, Max and Jacob Doyle, Caleb and Ellie Broyles; sisters, Marie Carlton, Evelyn Boling and Connie Clark.
Funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Bethany United Methodist Church, 6100 Moorman Road with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday 2:00-8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and after 10:00 A.M. Monday at the church.
Memorial gifts may be given to the church.
