Obituary

Cecile H. Dubeau, 96, of Woonsocket died Saturday July 21, 2014 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Dorien Dubeau.
Born Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Jules and Marie Anne (Tellier) Hantis. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Dubeau was employed at the Woonsocket Spinning Co. and Falls Yarn Mill. She later worked for Poly-Top for 14 years before retiring.
Cecile was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Church and shared her gift of song as a member of the Parish Choir for over 30 years. She was also an active member of St. Joseph Seniors for over 25 years having served as secretary for many years.
Cecile will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and cherished her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a son David Dubeau of Florida, a daughter Diane Pouliot and her husband, Robert, of Bellingham, a granddaughter Celeste Voyer of Blandon, PA. and two great-grandsons Matthew and Luke Voyer. She was the sister of the late Florence Houle and is also survived by a nephew, a niece and many cousins.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Woonsocket. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Parish, 1200 Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, RI. 02895. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
