STERLING-Florence A. (Dandeneault) McConville, 88, formerly of 68 Reservoir Street, Holden died Saturday, November 20th in Sterling Healthcare Center. Her husband, Joseph A. McConville died in 1988. She leaves 2 sons, Joseph A. McConville of Leicester and Francis X. McConville of Worcester, a daughter, Kathleen M. Dube of Holden, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. Her son, Michael J. McConville predeceased her in 2001.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Alfred and Clara (LaCroix) Dandeneault and attended Worcester Girls Trade School. Mrs. McConville worked for 7 ½ years for Chess King as a ticket printer, until retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. George’s Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved to spend time with her family.
The funeral is Tuesday, November 23rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, November 22nd from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
