Robert George Desfosses of Denver, CO, formerly of Salem, NH died on Monday, July 21st in Denver.
Bob was born in 1954, in Methuen, MA, the son of the late George and Gloria (Smith) Desfosses. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA and attended UNH and UMass Lowell, graduating with a degree in Computer Sciences.
Our “Bobby” was a kaleidoscope. He was many multicolored gems, bright light, fractured glass, brilliant and when you looked into him, really looked deeply, he came together beautifully, a true wonder. He loved the mountains and hiking was his favorite way to spend his time. Bob had a life filled with music, literature and singing. He enjoyed the talents of local artisans, sharing them as gifts to family and friends. He was a lover of life and wanted to spread that love to as many people as he could. His adventures brought him all over the county and he touched people every place he hung his hat.
Bob is survived by his brothers, Garry and his wife, Michele of Caribou, ME, Wayne and his wife Stacie of Dover, NH and sisters, Kathleen and her husband Stephen Moltenbrey of Hooksett, NH and Darlene and her husband Jeff Stikeman of Wakefield, MA. Bob is also survived by his special love, Rachael Desfosses of Baltimore, MD. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday from 2-4 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. The Memorial Service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM.
