Bobby Darrell House, Sr., 68, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at his residence. Born in Morgantown, KY he was a retired certified welder for LG&E, a sergeant in the Army during Vietnam where he was in Task Force Omega and a Baptist by faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Betty Jean; also survived by his children, Daniel Blake House, Bobby D. House, Jr., Angel House, Chris House, Rebecca Christie and Stephanie Christie; two brothers, L.Roy House and Danny Lee House; sister, Linda Sue Greenwell; eleven grandchildren. His funeral will be 11:00 am Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Central. Visitation will be 12:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family request expressions of sympathy may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
