Barbara Pierpont Ewer a resident of North Hill Needham for almost 20 years died on Friday November 19 at Newton Wellesley Hospital. She was 89 years old. Wife of the late John C. Ewer, she was the mother of Kitsie Henchman-Sallet and her husband Herbert of Lincoln and North Sandwich NH and Sally David of Ville Franche, France. Sister of Harlan T. Pierpont Jr., Dorothy Grose, Janet Hosmer, Carleton Pierpont and the late John Pierpont. She is also survived by her grandchildren Anna Henchman of Cambridge MA, Gary David of Lyon, France and Sacha Henchman of San Francisco CA.
The family will hold a private memorial gathering at a later date. If desired donations in Barbara’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street, Framingham MA 01701.
