Florence ‘Claire’ (Secando) Randazzo, 97 of Danvers and formerly of Marblehead, passed away at her home in Danvers with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was the wife of the late Sebastian ‘Randy’ Randazzo, whom she had shared 52 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Plymouth, at a young age she and her sister Anina were acrobatic dancers who traveled extensively in vaudeville shows. She and her sister later left the vaudeville stage and Claire began work as a production manager for LFT an electrical circuit manufacturer. She and her husband were residents of Marblehead for 55 years where she retired from the Marblehead Post Office.
An active, fun loving woman, Claire loved being out and about with family and friends. She maintained her passion for dancing until very recently and was also fond of bingo and a good game of cards. Claire’s sense of humor and fun loving spirit will be missed by the many who loved her.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Donna O’Brien and her husband Paul, 2 step-grandchildren, of Webster, two step-grandchildren, Frank and Lisa, several nieces and nephews including, Michael & Cheryl Secando, Nina & Richard Juel, Philip & Elissa Salvatore, Mario & Gail Salvatore, and Santo Salvatore, Mary & Frank Withrow, Paul & Patty Randazzo, as well as grandnieces and grandnephews, Jack, Will, Brandon, Christopher & Joey, Jonathan & Sabina, Christopher & Stacy, Aimee & Jeff. She also leaves her devoted friend Diane Dawson and her favorite pets, Kimmie, Katie & Kellie.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Visiting hours will be at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem on Thursday, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
