BUTLER - Virginia D. Butler, 77, passed away Sunday morning, July 27, 2014 at her Yulee, FL residence.
Mrs. Butler was born February 15, 1937 in Winston-Salem, NC and moved to Yulee in 1978 from Jacksonville. She was a member of Celebration Baptist Church in Yulee where she helped with the children's nursery. She is described by those who knew and loved her as easy going, always willing to help others and never having a cross word with anyone. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and was known as a hard worker. She was a sweet, loving person.
Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband of 39 years, David Butler of Yulee, FL; two daughters and sons in law, Debra and Scott Eber, and Terry and Peter Labbe, all of Jacksonville, FL; a step son, David Butler of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31 in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Kwiatkowski officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
