Wittmer, Nancy Catherine "Nanny" was called home to her Heavenly Father Monday July 14, 2014 at the beautiful age of 90. Surrounded by her loving family and lifelong friends, her journey peacefully. Nanny was truly an amazing woman led by a shining example of kindness, joy and laughter. She had a genuine spirit that blessed everyone she met.
Her loving husband of over 56 years, Kenneth Wittmer and parents William and Lucille Carraway preceded her in death.

In her way of continuing to help others, she donated her body to The Bequeathal Program, Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology at U of L.
A Memorial will be observed during worship at her church Briargate Presbyterian 2100 Upper Hinters Trace at10:45 am Sunday July 27 2014. Visitors may also greet her family in the churches Fellowship Hall Noon -1pm Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to her church.
