Obituary

“Hunter” Aaron Alton Harrell, 19, of Tifton died Friday, July 25, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Gwen Gerald will officiate with burial to follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. Thomas Harrell II, Blade Harrell, Julian Roberts, B. J. Roberts, Thomas Harrell and Trinity Bennett will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Harrell, Austin Roberts and the Turner County High School Color Guard, along with Major Gavins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 27, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Hunter was born on September 27, 1994 in Tifton and was the son of Thomas William Harrell and Yavette Roberts Harrell and Michael Harrell, all of Tifton. He graduated from Turner County High School in 2013. He was assistant commander of the Turner County High School R.O.T.C. and commander of the Color Guard.

In addition to his parents and step-father, Hunter is survived by five brothers and one sister-in-law, Thomas II and Kristin Harrell, Blade Harrell, Seth Harrell, Michael Harrell Jr. and Nicholas Harrell; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Hailey Harrell, Michaela Harrell York and husband, Sean, and Chey Walsh; one nephew, Ryder; one niece, Jaycee; his grandparents, Ray and Jeannie Ledford, Thomas and Bonnie Harrell and A. J. and Carolyn Roberts; his great-grandmother, Illene Walker; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
