Stella M. (Sottile) Oleson, of Medford, died Wednesday at the Winchester Hospital, after a brief illness. She was 91.
Born in Worcester and raised in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Sebastiano and the late Anna (Cutroni) Sottile. A former Somerville resident, Mrs. Oleson lived in Medford for the past 40 years. A dedicated wife and mother, she had a special love for her grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore M. Oleson. She was a devoted mother to Estelle Robinson of Medford, Barbara Cuzziere of Chelmsford, and the late Richard T. Oleson. She was a loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She was the dear sister of Joe Sottile of Cambridge, John Sottile of CA, 7 deceased siblings and also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit Sunday from 3 thru 7 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
A funeral mass will be offered in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, Monday at 9 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
