Violet (Gomes) Lima, age 91 of Somerset passed away July 23, 2014. She was the widow of Joseph Lima and daughter to the late Eugene “Gene” Gomes and Celia (Viveiros) Gomes. She had worked as a sewing machine operator at Lex Craft Co. and she was a parishioner of Espirito Santo Church.
Violet was the mother of David Lima of Portsmouth, RI, Nance Raposa of Westport, Joseph Lima of San Antonio, TX, Edward Lima of San Diego, CA, Anthony Lima of Somerset and Linda St. Laurent of Portsmouth, RI. She leaves 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She the sister of the late Lillian Archambault.
