Mario E. Freitas, age 53 of Fall River, passed away with his loving family by his side on July 22, 2014. Born in Furnas, São Miguel, Açores, he was the husband of Ana (DeMedeiros) Freitas and the son of Maria de Jesus Amaral Freitas and the late Antonio M. Freitas. Prior to his brief battle with cancer, Mario worked for Schulz Boating Company of Bristol, and was a parishioner of St. Michael Church.
Mario is survived by his children Brian, Felicia and Nicole Freitas of Fall River 4 brothers Armando, José Manuel, Luis Freitas of Fall River and Antonio Freitas of Brampton,OT; 3 sisters Graça Pimentel, Fatima Pimentel, Maria de Jesus Almeida of Fall River and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church Essex St. Fall River at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery.
