Edward F. “Big Ed” Wells, 59, of Manchester, died July 18, 2014 at Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born in Bangor, ME on January 10, 1955 to Edwin and Eleanor (Hastings) Wells. He lived in Manchester, Hampton and Nashua for many years.
Edward was co-manager at Blackout Café and had also worked at Glass America, both in Manchester.
He was an avid bingo player and supporter of several charities at Community Bingo Center in Manchester. He loved his beloved bassett hound, Vicky, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, fantasy football league, flea markets, yard sales, the ocean and spending time with his family and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
The family includes two children, Tracey Wells of Bangor, ME and Nicole McNally and her life partner, Daniel Gagnon, of Nashua; two step sons, Richard McNally of Manchester and Ronald McNally and his life partner, Lori Cummings of Nashua; several grandchildren; his life partner, Diana Hayes of Hampton and her daughters, Amanda Hayes and Jennifer Borsini both of Manchester, who were like children to Edward; his best friend, George Wing of Manchester; and cousins.
A graveside committal service was held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Brown Avenue, Manchester.
