Margaret L. Wynn, 77

Margaret L. (Pineo) Wynn, age 77, of Pocasset, formerly of Norton passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility in Bourne. She was the beloved wife of Francis E. Wynn, Sr.
Born in Brockton, MA on June 13, 1937, she was a loving daughter of the late Arnold and Margaret (Innes) Pineo. She grew up and was educated in Norton.
A resident of Pocasset for the past 31 years, Mrs. Wynn was a retired housekeeper having worked for over 7 years at the Cape Heritage Nursing Home in Sandwich, retiring in 1995. She had previously worked at Wheaton College in Norton, also as a housekeeper for 8 years.
Peggy was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Norton VFW Post 8049, and was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Emblem Club at the Wareham Lodge of Elks.
Peggy’s hobbies included crafts, knitting, and reading. Her favorite times spent were those amongst family and friends who loved her dearly.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her devoted children; Margaret R. Joubert and her husband Leo of Attleboro, Francis E. Wynn, Jr. and his wife Audrey of Buzzards Bay, Terri J. Gibbons and her husband John of Monument Beach, Lisa J. Johnson and her husband Richard of Cataumet, Bruce R. Wynn and his wife Brandy of Wareham and the late Richard M. Wynn. She was the dear sister of Ruth Forget of Connecticut, Norma Cole of Taunton, Pamela Porell of New Hampshire, Susan DiTomasso of Rhode Island, Robert Pineo of Florida, Bruce Pineo of Illinois, and the late Gary Pineo, Beverly Houde and Arnold Pineo. She is also survived by her cherished 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday, July 24th at 10A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
