Michael J. Giroux 60, of River Ave. died July 7th at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of David and Mary (Casey) Giroux of Woonsocket. Michael worked as a salesman for several years before becoming disabled. He served in the US Army.
Besides his parents he leaves a son, Christopher M. Giroux of Plymouth, MA and a daughter, Keri Anne Giroux of New Bedford, MA, step-children, Dean, Kevin and Kelly Souza all of Woonsocket, a brother David Giroux of Hopedale, MA and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the loving ex-husband of Maureen Frazier.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to The Providence Center Fund Development Department, 528 North Main St, Providence, RI 02904 in his memory would be appreciated.
