SALEM- Christopher J. “Chris” Manning, 27, of Salem, died Saturday, December 1, 2000 in Salem.
Born in Salem, he was the son of John J. and Cynthia A. (Mello) Manning of Salem. He attended Salem schools and was a graduate of Salem High School in 1991.
Christopher was employed at Ira Toyota in Danvers for the past three years. He previously worked at the Hawthorne Hotel.
Chris’s interests included a love of music, movies and animals.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Roger and Helen (Szostek) Mello of Danvers, one brother Jonathan R. Manning of Salem and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the grandson of the late John and Grace (Dullea) Manning.
At the request of the family, funeral services were private.
