Salem, NH - Louise (Corriveau) Kelly, age 86, died suddenly Thursday morning at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Born in Dracut, MA, she was a longtime resident of Summerfield, FL and Salem, NH. She was raised in Lawrence, MA.
Louise operated the Melodie Beauty Salon in Methuen for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, cooking, and doting on her grandchildren. She also enjoyed working in the Salem Bingo hall in the 1980's.
Louise will be deeply missed by her husband of fifteen years, Fred Kelly; her two grandchildren, Corinne Simione Martin and spouse Meghan Martin and Todd-Michael Simione; her two great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Caleb; her two sisters, Annette McGuire and Claire Grubbs; her brother, Ernest Corriveau; and her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Louise is pre-deceased by three sons, Carmine J., Joseph Jr. and Duane R. Simione; two husbands, Joseph J. Simione and Paul Foley; and one brother, Robert Corriveau.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Louise's life by gathering for calling hours at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 3 - 7 PM. At the request of the family, Louise's funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested, in Louise's honor, memorial contributions be made to any local hospice house.
