She is survived by her children, William Lee, Jr. of Moodus, Betty Lee of Plainfield, Bruce Lee, Sr. and Brian Lee of Groton and Barbara Templin of New London. She is predeceased by her son, Benjamin Lee. Joan is also predeceased by her brothers, Gilbert Prue and Leonard Prue, and her sister, Juanita Congdon. She will be sadly missed by her nineteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joan’s family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Monday, from 5-7 pm. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, at 10 am, immediately followed by burial at Elm Grove Cemetery.
