SALEM- Jane E. Noszka, 95, formerly of Bridge St., Salem, died Wednesday afternoon, May 23, 2001 in the Ledgewood Nursing Home, Beverly, following a long illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia (Wojcik) Noszka and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the office at the Atwood & Morrill Co. in Salem for many years. She previously worked for J.B. Blood in Salem.
An active member of the Polish community, Miss Noszka was a lifelong member of the St John The Baptist Parish and was active in Polish organizations.
She is survived by one brother, William J. Noszka of Salem and several cousins.
Her funeral service was held on Friday, May 25, 2001, at 10 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Saqlem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 am at the St. John The Baptist Church. Visitation was in the funeral home on Friday morning, from 10 to 10:45 am, prior to the Mass. Burial was in St Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
