Neil Philip Trumbour, 70, of Hudson, died on Tuesday, July 8th at UMASS Memorial medical Center, University Campus in Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ellen Agnes (Shaughnessy) Trumbour of Hudson.
Neil was born in Newton, son of the late Joseph Edmund and Marie (Cassidy) Trumbour. He was raised in Waltham and was a 1962 graduate of Saint John’s Prep High School in Danvers. He later received his Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College in 1966. He has resided in Hudson since 1968 and was employed at Robinson’s Hardware in Hudson for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Hudson Lodge of Elks; Hudson Rod and Gun Club and member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.
In his spare time, Neil enjoyed fishing in the summer months and skiing in the winter months. He looked forward to spending time with his family, especially all the special occasions and gatherings. He will be truly missed.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Ginette L. Coffey of Marlboro, Corinne M. Scarnici and her husband Frank of Quincy; his sister, Patricia Giugno of Upton and his four loving grandchildren, Bryce, Tade, Isabella and Francesca. He also leaves his many nieces and nephews and was the brother of the late Joseph Edmund “Ted” Trumbour Jr. and Robert George Trumbour.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 14th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, July 13th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
