Martha Ella Lehr

Martha E. (Temple) Lehr, 94, of Middletown, died July 9, 2014 in Anderson where she resided most of her life.
She was the daughter of Wallace and Ada (Meeks) Temple and married William C. Lehr on August 9, 1942.
She retired from Montgomery Ward in 1985. She was the oldest member of the Gospel Light Chapel and also attended First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children David Lehr, Melody (Larry) Hunt, Nina (Tom) Hunt and William (Patricia) Lehr; sister-in-law, Harolyn Temple, twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was reunited in Glory with her husband, parents, siblings June Eloise (Dan) Wells; Jack (Lillian) Temple; Ruth (Jim) Knight; Phillip (Ann) Temple; Nina (Irving) Warnick; David Temple.
Services will be 12:00 noon on July 14, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson with Pastor Loyce Webb and Pastor Art Jaggard officiating, with burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at Rozelle's.
Memorial contributions may be given to Gospel Light Chapel Building Fund.
