FALL RIVER - Conrad Paul Pineault, 70, of 4234 No. Main St., Fall River, MA, previously of 38 Estey Way, Stoughton, MA died Wednesday November 17th at his home with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Jane M. (Duarte) Pineault. He leaves a son Stephen J. Pineault of Clarksville, TN, 3 daughters: Paula A. Pineault of Scituate, RI, Sheila M. Pineault of Woodbridge, VA, & Karen A. Pineault of Swansea, MA, 3 sisters: Jeannette G. De Biasio of Fall River, MA, Lillian N. Larivee of Champaign, IL, & Pauline A. Hutchinson of Tequesta, FL, 3 grandchildren: Amanda & Chadd Pineault, & Grant Midwood, 1 great granddaughter: Hailey Pineault, several nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late J. Philippe, Robert J.L., Raymond E., & Ernest A. Pineault & Theresa M. Pepp.
He was born in Fall River the son of the late Elisee (John) Pineault and the late Catherine (Letourneau) Pineault. His early life was in Fall River and Swansea, and later in Warren, R.I. Moved to Stoughton in 1978, and returned to Fall River in 1994. He attended Bryant College and its evening division. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean Conflict with rank of Sgt. He worked in Accounting, Finance, and General Management for Harvey Probber, Inc., F.R., Executive VP & Ceo for 21 years. Corcoran Mullins Jennison, Management Co. Mullins Co., Braintree, MA; Mirrone Companies, Brockton, MA 1 ½ years; Ferland Corp. of Pawtucket, RI 1 ½ years; FDIC, Boston, Westboro, and Franklin sites, for 8 years as Liquidation Specialist & later as Section Chief in the Owned Real Estate Division He was a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Boston Chapter, Board of Directors, Rental Housing Assoc. of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
He was Chapter President of the Boston IREM Chapter in 1988 and held numerous positions in the Local Chapter and National organizations in Chicago,IL Received the certifications of ARM(Accredited Resident Manager) and CPM(Certified Property Manager)accreditation through his affiliation with IREM. He served as Course Dean for a number of years for the RAM (Registered Apartments Manager) program sponsored by the Builders Assoc. of Greater Boston. During this time, Conrad trained and certified numerous managers into the field of real estate management. He served as a Visiting Lecturer at the Columbia School of Real Estate Development and Management. During his tenure as Chapter President, he was a frequent speaker before various real estate groups in the Boston Area and contributed numerous articles to the N.E. Real Estate Journal. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Rental Housing Assoc. of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. He also attended numerous executive level training programs and labor relations courses during his career.
His funeral will be held Saturday, November 20th from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 North Main Street, Fall River at 9 A.M.followed by a funeral mass in Holy Rosary Church, Beattie Street, Fall River at 10 A.M.
