Baby Ethan Sawyer Kidd, 2 days old, of Cordele died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Baby Ethan was born on July 6, 2014 in Albany and was the son of Michael Preston Kidd and Jessika Griffin Kidd of Cordele. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Hazel Henrietta Kidd and his maternal grandmother, Lana Harper Ethridge.
In addition to his parents, Baby Ethan is survived by two brothers, his twin, Delton Easton Kidd and Karter Kash Kidd, both of Cordele; his grandparents, Barry and Elaine Kidd of Rochelle, Stephen and Sonja Griffin of Dawson and Joel Benjamin and Sandi Moser Ethridge of Dawsonville; his great-grandparents, Ben and Joyce Tyson of Tifton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
