Kimberly Suzette (Buckner) Dotson, 45, of Anderson, died July 6, 2014 at Community Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born May 5, 1969 to William Charles and Mary (Ellis) Buckner in Anderson where she graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1986.
She worked in food service.
She is survived by her parents, William Charles and Mary Buckner of Anderson; four children, Devan Phillips (Gregory Steffler) ; Dustin Dotson; Daniel Dotson and David Badgley, Jr.; two sisters Lisa Lane (Stephan Watson); Beverly Corbin and brother Mark Buckner all of Anderson; grandson, Drevan Melton; several nieces and nephews; three uncles; an aunt and several cousins; and two friends, Terry Dotson and David Badgley, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Grace Woods; grandfather, Robert Ellis; paternal grandparents, James & Anna Mae Buckner; two aunts, Elsie Norrick, Judith Ellis; uncles, Thomas Buckner and Keith Ellis.
Service will be noon on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Gary Meeker officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Kidney Foundation.
