Darlene P. (Carey) Bernier-Huot, 53, of Auburn, died July 6, 2014 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on April 21, 1961 to Robert and Lorraine (Chaput) Carey. She lived in the Manchester area for most of her life.
Darlene worked as a registered nurse for many years, more recently at Londonderry Family Practice.
She was an avid New England sports fan. She also enjoyed NASCAR, going to York Beach, ME and time spent with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Carey.
The family includes her husband, Michael D. Huot of Auburn; three children, Leana Lemay of Atlanta, GA, and Ryan Bernier and Nicole Bernier both of Auburn; two step sons, Mike Huot and Chris Huot both of Manchester; three grandchildren, Noelle, Isabella and Shea; her mother of Manchester; four siblings, Michael Carey of Boston, MA, Kathleen Kozlowsky of Ohio, Charlene Smith of Manchester and Lisa Woo of Bedford; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, July 11, 2014 at St. Pius X Church, corner of Candia Road and Sarto Street, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
