LEICESTER: Florence R. (Laincz) Williams, 87 a lifelong resident of Leicester passed away peacefully Friday, July 4 in the Meadows of Leicester.
Her husband of 57 years Robert F. Williams died in 2005. She leaves two sons John E. Williams and his wife Linda of Holden and Peter F. Williams and his wife Joanne of Londonderry, NH, three daughters Susan E. Penny and her husband Anthony of Paxton, Karen A. Durant and her husband James of Leicester and Elizabeth A Guerin and her husband John of Worcester, a brother Robert Laincz and his wife Frances of Leicester, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, an Aunt and several cousins.
Florence was born in Holden, daughter of James S. and Mary Edna R. (White) Laincz. She attended Leicester Schools. She was a wonderful caring Mother, Grandmother, Wife and Friend. She enjoyed bingo and trips to the casino with her daughter and best friend Elizabeth, but most of all enjoyed her family and preparing her fabulous Sunday dinners for them. She will be greatly missed by those who love her and unknowingly she touched many lives. Her family will especially miss her spritz cookies and mashed potatoes.

The funeral will be held Thursday, July 10 from MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 759 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. A calling period will precede the mass from 9:00-10:30 AM.
