Paul F. Keenan age 87 passed away July 6th at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Boston, he attended St. Clemens School in Canton, St. Mark’s in Dorchester and English Latin High School. He enlisted in the Navy and served in the South Pacific during WW II. After his service to the Navy he went to work for Otis Elevator for many years and later for Delta Elevator before retiring in 1987. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing at DW Fields in Brockton and Cedar Hill in Stoughton where he shot his age frequently through the years. Beloved husband of Clare A. (Rich). Father of Diana Goroff of MD, Jane Thornton and her husband John of Canton, Clare Bishop and her husband Charlie of Wrentham, Nancy Curley and her husband Pat of NC. and the late Paul F. Keenan. Brother of Richard Keenan of Hull, Michael Keenan of Hanover, James Keenan of N. Andover, Ralph Keenan of Walpole, Ann D’Andrea of Randolph and the late Thomas Keenan, Marie Stafford and Joseph Keenan. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday at 12 noon. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery. Visiting hours omitted.
