Obituary

SALEM- Adele (Bogel) Paskowsky, 84, wife of Stephen Paskowsky, of Lovett St., Salem, died Thursday, morning, October 4, 2001, in the Salem Hospital following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaus and Julia (Szygula) Bogel.

Mrs. Paskowsky was employed for over 20 years at the former Vera’s Delicatessen, a family owned business located on Main Street in Peabody.

A resident of Salem for 60 years, she was an active parishioner of the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church. She was a Girl Scout leader for several years, and volunteered as a fund raiser for several local organizations.

Besides her husband, with whom she shared over 60 years of marriage, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jeanne Paskowsky of Andover, one daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Robert Clinton of Reading, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three sisters, Helena Duda of Salem, Laura Wladkowski of Boxford, Isabel O’Rourke of Peabody and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louis Bogel.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2001, at 10 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral service at 11 am at the St Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 56 Forrester St., Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be Monday in the funeral home from 4 to 8 pm, with the Panikhida prayer service at 7:30 pm. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
