Marie T. (Bowento) Willand, 86, of Worcester died Friday, July 4th in Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. Her husband of 53 years, Robert L. Willand, died in 2000. She leaves two sons, Robert L. Willand and his wife, Patricia of Greenfield and Richard L. Willand and his wife, Kim of Leicester; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Bowento.
She was born in Worcester daughter of Pasquale and Georgianna (Giard) Bowento. Marie was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and worked at Millbrook Distributors for many years.
Her funeral is Wednesday, July 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 8th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
