TEWKSBURY - Aline J. LeBoeuf, age 78, matriarch of a well-known Tewksbury family, died peacefully on July 3, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph I. LeBoeuf.
Aline was born in Lowell, August 12, 1935, one of three children of the late Alphonse and Gabrielle (Lepine) Charette; she was raised in the Christian Hill section of Lowell. After her marriage to Joe, they moved to Tewksbury to raise their family. She worked driving a school bus, while raising her boys. For more than twenty years, she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Tewksbury Little League and was elected “Woman of the Year” by Tewksbury Youth Baseball in 1968. Aline was a communicant of St. William’s Church and a bingo enthusiast. She enjoyed many years of retirement with her family at their camp on Peter’s Pond in Dracut, boating with her sons, swimming with her grandchildren and playing cards with her friends.
She is survived by her four sons, Robert I. LeBoeuf of Tewksbury, Joseph A. LeBoeuf of Dracut, James P. LeBoeuf and his wife Robin (MacKinnon) LeBoeuf of Lowell, William T. LeBoeuf of Tewksbury; her daughter-in-law, Diane (Lafreniere) LeBoeuf of Tewksbury; her brother, Robert Charette and his wife Kathy of Hampton, NH; a sister, Marie Kiberstis and her husband Kenneth of Methuen; her dear Uncle Leo Lepine, of Lowell; nine grandchildren, Major Daniel G. LeBoeuf, U.S.A.F., Nicole R. LeBoeuf, M.D., Amie J. (LeBoeuf) Bisso and her husband Darren, Jacqueline D. LeBoeuf, Katie L. LeBoeuf, Taylor J. MacKinnon, Paige L. MacKinnon, Hanna L. MacKinnon, and Mia S. LeBoeuf. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, July 8, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Burial followed in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell. Memorial gifts may be made to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in memory of Aline J. LeBoeuf to support research, education and patient care in the Surgical Intensive Care Program.
