LEICESTER: Mary F. (Barry) Reidy 81, of King St. Ext., died Tuesday, July 1
in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, James A. Reidy, Jr., five sons Michael Reidy of Vero Beach, Fl., James Reidy and his wife Joan of Leicester, Mark Reidy and his wife Darleen of Marriotsville, Md., Thomas Reidy of Leicester and John Reidy of Oxford, a daughter Kathleen Grady and her husband Richard of Marlborough, a brother John Barry of Shrewsbury and 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Mary was a secretary at the Leicester Middle School for many years before retiring.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of John and Mary (O’Toole) Barry and later graduated from St.Stephen’s High School in Worcester. She was a member of St.Aloysius-St. Jude Parish. She enjoyed bingo, cards and especially time with her family.
The funeral will be held on Monday, July 7 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Sunday, July 6 from 3:00-5:00 PM
