Shannon E. Lacy

NASHUA, NH: Shannon E. Lacy, age 26, a lifelong resident of Nashua, passed away unexpectedly at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on Monday, June 30, 2014.
Born in Lowell on June 21, 1988, she was the beloved daughter of Thomas E. Lacy, Jr. and Roberta A. (Lyons) Lacy.
Shannon attended Nashua schools and graduated from Nashua North High School in 2006.
Following high school, she attended Keene State College, where she received her degree in Education in 2010.
Shannon was employed for the past 4 years as a French Teacher at Keene High School in Keene, NH.
She enjoyed traveling to Europe, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her sister, Brittany R. Lacy, and her brother, Thomas J. Lacy both of Nashua; her paternal grandmother, Eileen C. (Doyle) Lacy of Nashua, NH; her aunts and uncles, Barry T. Lyons and his wife Suzanne, Catherine E. Vennard and her husband Peter, Mary Jo Chandonnet (Godmother)and her husband Craig, Cheryl J. Batherwich and her husband Frank, and Rhonda E. Sergi and her husband David; James Regan (Godfather); also numerous cousins.
Shannon was the sister of the late Timothy J. Lacy, maternal granddaughter of the late Timothy J. and Priscilla E. (Brennan) Lyons, and paternal granddaughter of the late Thomas E. Lacy.
Calling hours are Sunday, July 6, from 2-6 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Monday, July 7, at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
