Edna was a friend to all she met. She touched hundreds of people’s lives in many ways over all the years. She was like a second mother to the Curtis girls of Marshfield, a foster mother, caretaker, babysitter and nanny to many, many children. She helped shape their lives and who they have become and will become as adults. Edna was a true Christian and practiced her everlasting faith at many churches on the South Shore; regardless of the denomination. She was a parishioner and Sunday School teacher at both the Trinity Episcopal church in Marshfield Hills and later the Victory Baptist church in Brant Rock. She went to many a service at the Union Mission chapel in Norwell and often attended Holy week at St Ann's by the Sea in Brant Rock. She was a volunteer for Marshfield's Community Christmas and at the Country Kitchen during the Marshfield Fair. All knew Edna as an avid reader, gardener, craftsperson and most of all a walker. She walked almost every inch of Marshfield, her beloved home!
