LaVerne (Chappell) Goben, 80, returned to her Heavenly Father, July 2, 2014.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John W. Goben; children, Steven E. Goben (Ranetta), Sandra Roberts (Steve), John “Doug” Goben (Tina) and Rebecca Goben; five grandchildren, Angela, Kayleigh, Stephanie, Julie and Kelsey; two great-grandchildren, Damon and Delaney.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, many friends and loved ones who will always remember her for her kindness and generosity to others.
Her funeral will be Saturday, 12 noon at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be Friday 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm.
