Diane Marie Rivest, age 69, passed away on June 30, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on June 16, 1945 to the late William and Helen (Rudek) Gosselin. She was a communicant of the former Assumption Church in Chicopee. She worked for many years before retiring for a local cleaning service. She leaves one daughter Christine Witschi and her husband Warren of Monson; one son Jeffrey Rivest and his wife Tara of East Longmeadow; her longtime companion Antonio DaPiedade of Spfld; one brother William Gosselin II of Chicopee; three sisters Nancy Gosselin of Chicopee, Susan Banfield of Glastonbury, CT and Linda Biron of Gardner and three grandchildren Christopher McCray, Ryan Rivest and Brendan Rivest. Visiting Hours will be held on Thurs July 3, 2014 from 4 to 7 PM at the Grise Fueral Home 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:30 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
