Obituary

SALEM – Tara V. (Sciola) Gaynor, 38, of Salem, wife of the late Colin Gaynor, died on Saturday, June 28, 2014, following a short illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Susan (Lotarski) Sciola and step-daughter of Ross Pecevich of Salem and daughter of Anthony Sciola and step-daughter of Jane Sciola of Andover. She also leaves one daughter, Hayley M. Gaynor of Salem, who will be entering her senior year at Salem High School.

Tara attended St. John the Baptist Grammar School in Peabody, graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in the class of 1993 and attended Salem State College. Tara was employed as a medical secretary and later worked as a bartender and waitress at various restaurants on the North Shore, including the Porthole in Lynn and O’Neill’s in Salem, Capone’s in Peabody and Crave in Amesbury. Tara also volunteered at various non-profit organizations in order to help those less fortunate.

Besides her parents and daughter, she also leaves her father-in-law Robert Gaynor and mother-in-law Brenda Gaynor of Nahant, sister-in-law Robyn and spouse Alan Nasuti of Upton. She is survived by many aunts and uncles, Cynthia and Robert Drost of Saco, ME, Stephen and Donna Sciola of Swampscott, Nina and Gary Lambert of Beverly, Matthew Sciola of Silver Lake, NH, Sandy and Frank Lillo of Saugus, several cousins and many friends she made over the years.

At the request of the family, funeral services are private. Arrangements by the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
