Obituary

Ellendale, N.D.----Lawrence J. Kearns, 90, of Ellendale, North Dakota and formerly of 141 Winter Street Ext., Laconia, N.H., died at his home in North Dakota after a long battle with cancer on October 1, 2013. He was the widower of Florence C. (Paquette) Kearns who died in 2002.
Mr. Kearns was born April 15, 1923 in Meriden, Conn., the son of the late James and Marion (Dufault) Kearns. He resided in Meriden, Conn. for several years before moving to Laconia in 1946. Mr. Kearns served in the U. S. Army during WWII and had been employed at Scott & Williams for twenty-nine years.
Mr. Kearns is survived by his daughter, Ann Marie (Dustin) Wagner, of Ellendale, North Dakota. His granddaughter, Alyxandra Wagner of Fargo, ND and his great granddaughter , Houston Marie Wagner, also of Fargo, ND
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday July 24, 2014 at 11:00am in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, N.H. Cemetery, Garfield St., Laconia, N.H.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Red River Valley in Fargo, ND.
