Mary L. (Martin) Foster a resident of Andover for 5 years, died at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on June 28, 2014. She was 67 years old.
Born in Chelsea, on September 22, 1946, she was raised in Revere and was the beloved daughter of Mary (Wilson) and the late Herbert Martin. Mary worked for the Chateau Restaurant in Andover as a Lottery Agent. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed decorating and painting in her home. She also loved going shopping with her sisters Mary and had a special love for her dog Marley. Above all, Mary was a very devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving children; Terri L. and her husband Christopher J. Bova of Georgetown, April I. Gagnon of Andover, Herbert E. and his wife Heather Foster of Florence, S.C and Matthew D. Foster of Derry, NH, siblings; Judith Kelly of Middleton, Jane Agganis of Boca Raton, FL and Herbert Martin of Merrimack, NH. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary was also the loving mother of the late Mary Jane Foster.
Her calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be private.
