Fall River – Vaughn E. Ostman, 43, of Fall River died unexpectedly, Monday, November 15, 2004 at home. He was the former husband of Kelly R. (Scanlon) Ostman of New Bedford and the companion of Tina Ferreira of Fall River.
Mr. Ostman was born in Oak Bluffs, MA, son of the late Nelson H. “Swede” and Theresa M. (Ferreira) Ostman, and had lived in the Greater New Bedford area for most of his life, residing the past 7 years in Fall River. He worked as a laborer with Quaker Fabric, Fall River. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Including his former wife and companion, he is survived by a son: David V. Ostman of Acushnet; 2 daughters: Amber R. Ostman of New Bedford and Alexis F. Ostman of Fall River; a stepson: Cameron Murby of Fall River; 2 brothers: Jon C. Ostman of Acushnet and Eric “Ricky” Ostman of Taunton; a sister: Lee Alwardt of Martha’s Vineyard; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Shawn Ostman and Nelson H. Ostman, Jr.
