Leslie J. "Jay" Glover, 69, of Pendleton, died June 28, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.
He was born on September 17, 1944 in Shelby, OH, the son of Allen and Cleo (Reeder) Glover. He was self employed as a mechanic for over 40 years. He attended the Church of God and enjoyed Nascar and Harley Davidson.
He is survived by his mother, Cleo (Reeder) Glover, 4 Children: Carrie (Scott) Antrim, Jesse Lee Allen Glover, Sherri Presser, and Delanie Fort; 2 Step Children: Branda Ferrell, and Juston Doty; his companion of many years, Alicia Aynes; 5 Grandchildren: Leslie Fuller, J.R. Fuller, Ross Glover, Madison Presser, Zayne Doty, and Claire Gooding, a great grandchild; Porter Glover, 4 siblings; Gary Glover, Claudette (Johnny) Garner, Becky Kendall, and Danny (Carolyn) Glover, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother in law, Jerry Kendall.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10 AM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Jay Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at the South Mound Cemetery in New Castle. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
