Salvatore “Sal” "Sasa” Attachi, 65 of Reading, died Saturday after a long illness.
Born in Italy, he lived in Reading since 1992 and formerly of Medford. He was the son of the late Maria (Felicitato) and Rocco Attachi. Salvatore was the Proprietor of A-A Masonry and retired in 2013.
Beloved husband of Rosa (Calautti) Attachi. Devoted father of Anthony R. Attachi and his wife Charlotte of Peabody, Maria T. Morel and her husband Peter of Amesbury, Michael Attachi and his wife Tina of Braintree. Loving grandfather of Brianna, Nicole, Nadia, Elise, Gianluca and Valentina. Brother of Francesco, Vincenzo, Nicola Attachi all of Italy and the late Giuseppe Attachi.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 3-8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
