Augusta – Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Harman entered into rest on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Martinez Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Winsett officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Harman was employed with the American Legion for 20 years. After retirement, she continued to volunteer with the American Legion, as well as with the Georgia War Veteran’s Nursing Home.
She is survived by son, Scott Hobbs, her brothers, William Bethune and Christopher Bethune, her sisters, Joan Triest, Carol Scarlett, Delores Mims, and Priscilla Eggersman, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Todd Livingston, and her sister, Cheryl Burbank.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.
