FOSTER, KRISTEN BEVERLY 44 of Plymouth, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 27th after a long illness. She was born in South Weymouth to the late Beverly Gillis Foster and grew up in Marshfield, graduating from MHS in 1987. She subsequently graduated from Blaine Beauty School of Cosmetology of Boston and the Academy of Professional Makeup Artists in Toronto, Canada. Kristen lived in NYC for 18 years where she worked on Broadway Shows, commercials, and independent films. She joined ABC Good Morning America with Joan London and most recently became Nightline’s Cynthia McFadden’s personal hairdresser. Clients included Hilary Clinton, Liza Minelli, Adrianna Huffington. Kristen’s professional endeavors included obtaining Life Coach certification and Kundalini yoga instructor certification for yoga and meditation workshops. Kristen is survived by her son Luca Foster Yamasato and fiancé Felix Yamasato, her sister Kim Foster of Salem, her father Edward (Ted) Foster and Denine Kennedy Foster of Plymouth, stepsister Joie Kennedy Douglas and husband Mike Douglas, Braden, Peyton, and Colby Douglas of Leesburg, VA; uncles Peter Foster of RI and Chet Gillis and wife Christine Gillis of Weymouth and cousin Jesse Gillis of Boston; aunt Gail Foster and husband Thomas Swanson of Ga. Burial will be private.
