Robert N. Fisher, age 71, passed away at Tufts Medical Center on Friday, June 27, 2014. Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lavinia (Avallone) Fisher, his son William Fisher and his wife Toni of Weymouth and his grandchildren Evianna and Gabriella Fisher both of Weymouth. He also leaves his sister, Sandra Ward of Hingham. Robert is predeceased by his parents, Ernest N. Fisher and Ethel Fisher Ogren.
Bob was born in Quincy and was a lifelong resident of Weymouth. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, delivering mail in Weymouth Landing for many years. Bob served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, July 2 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM.
