D’Ambrosio, Joseph E., 67, passed away at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem on June 26. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Langille) D’Ambrosio of Plymouth (Manomet). Father of Joseph Jr. of RI, Virginia D’Ambrosio and her partner Lisete of Worcester, Christina Noble and her husband Kevin of Springfield, and Anthony D’Ambrosio and his wife Nicole of Scituate. He also leaves his grandchildren Madelyn Noble, Michael Noble, and Anthony “Sonny” D’Ambrosio, a brother Robert D’Ambrosio and his wife Kathleen, a sister Carol Crone and her husband Robert all of Plymouth and many nieces and nephews.
Joseph was born in Boston the son of Joseph L. and Philomena (DiRocco) D’Ambrosio, they moved to Plymouth at the age of three and graduated from Plymouth-Carver High School Joseph was an Operating Engineer and a member of IUOE Local 4. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening and his family and grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (Rte. 3A) Plymouth (Manomet on Sunday June 29, 2:00 to 5:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Bonaventure Parish on Monday June 30 at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in the Manomet Cemetery.
