Rose B. (Jordan) Hayes, 101, of Medway died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Countryside Healthcare of Milford. She was the beloved wife of Vincent Hayes who died in 1993.
Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia on October 6, 1912, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Gravette) Jordan.
Mrs. Hayes was a resident of Medway for 20 years and formerly resided in West Roxbury.
Before her retirement, she worked at the former Zayre department store for 20 years, retiring as a manager.
She is survived by two sons, Frederick Hayes of Bellingham and George Hayes of Holliston, ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, June 30 from 10 - 11 a.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by graveside services at Mount Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
