Holden: David M. Higgins, 55, died Tuesday June 24, 2014. He leaves his wife of 28 years Cherie (Powers) Higgins, a son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Deborah Higgins of South Carolina; 2 grandchildren, David's pride and joys- Aleena June and Caleb J. Higgins; Harrison Locke, whom David loved like a son; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves 11 siblings- Judith Ann LeFort, Joan Pabley, Walter, Gary, Elliott, and Alan Higgins, Jane Conti, Peter, Maryann, Ronald Higgins, and Margaret E. Counihan; and a few very close friends. David was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Higgins.
David was born in Worcester, MA, son of the late Rita (Cyr) and Walter S. Higgins Sr. He worked as a mechanic at Camerota Truck Parts in Westboro for many years. He enjoyed camping and watching NASCAR races.
