Flanders, Albert G. of Marshfield, passed away on June 24 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Thelma Jean (Miller) Flanders. Father of Albert G. Flanders Jr. and his wife Antje of Watertown and Stephen Flanders of Bourne. Loving grandfather of Connor and Tyler Flanders and the late Jennifer and Emily. Dear brother of Robert Flanders of NH and William Flanders of Quincy.
Albert graduated from Arlington High School. He attended Harvard University, Yale University and received his Master’s Degree from North Eastern University. Albert served in the US Navy and Air Force during WWII. He worked for Raytheon as an Electrical Engineer before retiring.
A visiting hour will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a service at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be held in Couch Cemetery.
